2022 Metropass Art Project
What started as a personal challenge to re-use and transform almost twenty years’ worth of expired metropasses, turned into a community project when the citizens of Toronto, (some transplanted as far away as Calgary), began donating their expired TTC metropasses to me. These mosaics, made exclusively of TTC monthly and weekly passes with epoxy resin, are a love letter to Toronto and our public transit system, as perfectly imperfect as they are.
